This blog documents our group-of-eight, 3800 mile bike trip across the US. We pedal self-supported from Netarts, OR to Bar Harbor, ME during June 25 to late September, 2013.
CAROL AND PERRY AND GROUP: The Mind,, its there all the time....in a hot-tub, the mind works in our favor....on the road, in the heat, with a moment under a shade tree, then One sees the road ahead, slight uphill, or no uphill, there is the road, under sun, for at least a half hour,,, then another hour....its a tough ride....Use your own truth, your own sense, which is helpfull, like a tire full of air...and capped. Tom, for dottie and tom.
I was worried all day. Thanks for being smart enough not to be pedaling in this heat! love you, Jean
ReplyDeleteWow 107 degrees. coulda jumped into a hot tub to cool down.
ReplyDeleteGood thing you're the 2 coolest people I know from Higher Ground.
You know how bank thermometers go, a different reading on every block. The National Weather Service said the high here yesterday was "only" 102.
